How can HR improve employee experience ?

Think outside the box for a moment. Why do people work in the first place?

Every person works to meet their financial needs and there are personal reasons that motivate people to work. For this reason, sometimes personal reasons and the presence of obstacles and challenges in their personal environment may be reflected in their work. Therefore, be a listener and help them overcome challenges.

Show your gratitude

Any employee at work (and at home and anywhere else, for that matter, recognized) is well motivated to keep working when they know that their hard work isn't going unnoticed. Show your appreciation by thanking employees for the work they do, either in person or in writing, or both. Be honest and show them how much their efforts are worth to the company.

Emphasize the balance between life and work

Aside from their regular vacation days, you can reward your employees with additional vacation days based on performance evaluations and achievements. Additionally, you can offer flexible working hours to your employees, so they can choose when they start and end their work. That way, you might help someone get their kids to school or take care of a sick relative. After all, it doesn't matter what time employees come in and out, as long as their daily tasks are successfully completed. That being said, who wouldn't do their best at work knowing that the company they're with is taking care of them and helping them maintain work-life balance?

Participation in decision-making, motivating factor for employees

Employees are already part of your organization, and you might be surprised at how much valuable insight they can provide. Your employees have a unique perspective on various business issues, and they may see something that senior management fails to recognize. Involving employees in decision-making—especially decisions that concern them or their areas of expertise—is a great motivator. In this way, not only will your employees feel a sense of purpose, but they will also feel engaged and feel that their views and opinions are valued by the organization.

Allow your employees to grow

An opportunity to grow and advance within the ranks of an organization motivates employees to give their best. The promise of career advancement and better working conditions is what every employee is waiting for. However, having your employees invest their blood, sweat, and tears is not a good way to motivate them to aspire to a promotion.

Instead, help them get there by offering additional training, courses, and seminars that enhance their skills and expand their knowledge. Let them learn new skills and find their ideal roles in your organization. This way, your employees will not only be motivated to do more and seek out more opportunities, but they will also be more engaged and productive.
